After tripping the light fantastically with whatever of the prizewinning grooving Bollywood has seen in Chance Pe Dance, Shahid Kapoor is back, but he ain’t grooving now. Shahid Kapoor along with Ayesha Takia will be seen in Paathshaala.
Paathshaala, the name itself tells you half the story. The flick centers on the pros and cons of the Indian Educational System and how the children suffer from this predicament. There are some issues which a school feat female face, Paathshaala highlights most of them.
The flick could be an eye opener for teachers, professors, school children and not to movies the parents too. After Taare Zameen Par, this will be the next big thing dealing with a common subject. If that’s the case, then very soon we are feat to see Shahid Kapoor doing an Aamir Khan. Shahid Kapoor after shaking his leg in Chance Pe Dance will do something which is poles apart movies his previous film’s character. In Paathshaala Shahid Kapoor is essaying a role of a pedagogue who has a very good rapport with the students. Akin to what Aamir Khan’s case was in Taare Zameen Par. It’s feat to a challenging task for Shahid who at this point of instance is the nation’s popular icon. But we every know that Shahid Kapoor who kick started his occupation playing a college feat chocolate pupil in Ishq Vishk to a topless hunky bad man in Kaminey. He can bring it on when the feat gets tough. Shahid is blessed with the potentials and genes of his movies Pankaj Kapoor, who himself has achieved a lot of accolades in his film career.
If we take Shahid out of the picture, we are still left out with whatever incredible talent in the form of Nana Patekar and Ayesha Takia. Mere words can describe the amount of vigor and aptitude Nana Patekar brings to the silver screen. He will be seen playing a serious case role of the Principal. Effervescent and bubby Ayesha will be Shahid’s co pedagogue in the film.
Paathshaala will have female actors who have a work experience certificate with movies. This means that, Paathshaala stars Avika Gor who has already made a name for herself in Balika Vadhu, Dwij yadav who has star in some films such as Nanhe Jaisalmer wherein he played a movies role and Swini Khare of Cheeni Kum fame. So the kids have really moved up over the eld and they are ready to compete with the grownup and elder actors in the industry. Respect!!!
Paathshaala is directed by award winning director Milind Ukey. He has achieved a lot of accolades in his occupation already. He was an Associate Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali on two of his colossal projects like,’ Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Khamoshi – The Musical’. His Marathi feature film ‘Devaki’ has won 27 awards including Best Director and Best Film. The movies and screenplay of the flick has been done by Ahmed Khan. Ahmed is a well known celebrated choreographer and this is the first instance he has donned the shoes of a writer. Paathshaala is produced by Shaira Khan of Paperdoll Entertainment.
